Meet the Owners

Roen Poulson

Co-Owner 2017-present

Roen has 16 years experience in Montessori. She is certified through North American Montessori Center as a 3-6 teacher but spent 7 years as a toddler teacher. She also has a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a MS in Elementary Education. She has 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren. She loves having her grandchildren come to visit.

Raquel Vho

Co-Owner 2025-present

Raquel has worked in childcare over 5 years. She is certified through North American Montessori Center. She also is a real estate agent with REMAX. She is a mom of 2 kids who attended Montessori for preschool and owns 2 french bulldogs. In her freetime, she loves to cook for her family. Spending time with her family is very important to her.

Amber has over 5 years of experience in Montessori. She is also certified through the North American Montessori Center for ages birth through 3 years. She values her family time and loves to spend time with her grandchildren.

Alyssa has 5 years of Montessori experience. She is working on her NAMC certification for ages Birth through 3 years. She volunteered at ICMS throughout high school and college, where she got partial college credit in Early Childhood Education.

Toddler Assistant 2025-present - St Joseph

Audrie has 12 years of childcare experience including 6 years of Montessori experience. She has her CDC and is certified through the North American Montessori Center for ages 3-6. She loves to read and is an avid connoisseur of tea.

Jessica has 12 years of childcare experience including 2 years of Montessori experience. She worked at ICMS from 2020-2021 and has recently rejoined the ICMS family. She values reading and spending quality time with her family.

Preschool Assistant 2025-present - St Joseph

Elementary Teacher 2024-present - St Joseph

JaLiah went to Missouri State University and has partial college credit for early childhood education. This includes hands-on experience in an early childhood classroom. She loves to read and spend time with her nephews.

Ashley worked as a preschool para for SJSD before joining our ICMS family. She has one year of Montessori experience and is certified through the North American Montessori Center for Lower Elementary. She is also a mother to a little girl.

Floater Teacher 2025-present - St Joseph

Infant Teacher 2022-present - St Joseph

Julia has one year of childcare experience. She is a mother to two girls and spends a lot of time with her family. She also enjoys watching her boyfriend race at the track.

Billie has 9 years of childcare experience, including 3 years of Montessori experience. She has 2 very active boys and values her family time. She also spends some of her free time reading.
